Academic Year 2025-26 welcomes our first cohort of year 12 students to Kings’ School Nad Sheba Sixth Form, with a wealth of programmes of study available. Our newly launched Sixth Form will offer BTEC (Business & Technology Education Council) qualifications, providing a dynamic and practical alternative to traditional academic pathways such as A-Levels. BTEC programmes combine academic rigour with practical relevance, equipping students with the skills, knowledge, and experiences essential for success in an evolving world.
The BTEC International Level 3 Diploma is a vocational, practical-based qualification equivalent to two A-Levels. This programme provides students with hands-on experience while opening doors to a wide range of university and career pathways. BTECs have become an increasingly popular alternative to traditional A-Levels, offering a direct route to both higher education and industry-specific careers. Unlike A-Levels, BTECs are assessed continuously over the two-year programme through a combination of formal exams, coursework, practical projects, and assignments—making them ideal for students who thrive in a collaborative, application-based learning environment.
