Rebecca graduated with a degree in Psychology in 2002 and went on to complete her PGCE at the University of North London. She began her teaching career in the London borough of Tower Hamlets, where she gained her first senior leadership post, and progressed to further senior leadership responsibilities in Peterborough. Following her career progression through leadership roles, Rebecca became Deputy Headteacher at a school in Huntingdon, during which time she also completed her NPQH. Rebecca has since been the Headteacher of a primary school in Northamptonshire and the founding Principal of a preparatory school. She has also worked as an Improvement Cluster Lead for the David Ross Education Trust, where she led on whole school improvement for seven of their primary schools.

Kerry joins Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba from Kings’ School Al Barsha where she fulfilled the role of Deputy Headteacher. Kerry has a wealth of leadership experience, including six years as Headteacher in a village primary school in rural North Yorkshire, leading her school through several highly successful inspections, and taking an executive role in the development of  a 60-school-wide Teaching School Alliance, as lead on mathematics and CPD for its School Direct students across the region.

A First-Class BSc (Hons) degree in Primary Education with Mathematics, there is nothing she loves more than making connections between the classroom and the world beyond it, supporting teaching, and seeing children thrive as they learn.

Appointed Local Leader of Education in 2017, she has developed a highly successful ‘Developing Effective Support in Mathematics: TA Toolkit’ 6-month training package, working alongside Yorkshire Ridings Maths Hub and STEM; is a published author of ‘Hands-On Maths’; and has worked internationally as a mathematics consultant, working with schools across the UK, Channel Islands, and in Dubai.

James graduated with a Geography degree in his hometown of Cambridge and went on to complete his PGCE at Nottingham University. He began his teaching career in North London and progressed to various leadership roles in Cambridgeshire, including four years as Assistant Headteacher.

Recognised by the local authority as a lead practitioner, James worked with schools across the county to improve the quality of teaching and went on to write whole-school curriculums. A keen data analyst, James has also designed and implemented whole-school data and assessment frameworks.

James joined Kings' School Nad Al Sheba from Kings' School Al Barsha, where he was Assistant Headteacher. 

Raza graduated with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy from The University of York and went onto complete a Master’s degree in Religious Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He completed his PGCE in his hometown of Bradford and was awarded his Master’s degree in Education in 2018.

Raza started teaching at an inner-city school in Bradford where he progressed to head of humanities and English with a passion for developing research-based pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning. He joined Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba in 2018 as Head of English and has designed and implemented a whole-school creative curriculum.

Jane graduated with a Law degree before going on to complete the Teach First Leadership Development Programme in Kent. Whilst on the programme, Jane was recognised as a pioneering practitioner and selected to take part in the National Innovation Series. Throughout her teaching career, Jane has worked across all key stages and led a number of departments, including Physical Education and Mathematics. Jane joined Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba in 2017 and has developed a number of new initiatives across the areas of maths, planning and assessment frameworks. As a teacher and leader, Jane is committed to providing all children with engaging, relevant and inspiring learning opportunities. 

Heba graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arabic Literature from Lebanese University in 2010. She then, more recently, studied a Diploma of Education in AlGhurair University in Dubai in 2018. Heba began her teaching career in Dubai in 2010, working in an Outstanding school. She joined Kings’ School Nad Al Sheba in 2018 as Head of Arabic. Heba leads the Arabic teaching team and works closely with senior leaders to ensure that Arabic teaching and learning is continually developing. Heba has been pivotal in developing professional relationships within the  Kings’ group of schools and across the Dubai educational landscape. In addition, Heba has been instrumental in designing a unique, innovative approach to teaching Arabic through a project called bilArabi with Pearson. Heba is passionate about providing real life contexts to ensure the children are inspired and motivated. 

Cara developed her love for teaching at university in London, where she took part in a range of placements at inner-city schools. She went on to complete her teacher training, specialising in Early Years, before going on to gain a Masters in Special and Additional Needs and the national award for Special Educational Needs Coordination.

Cara has worked as Head of Year and Head of Department, and her experience spans both mainstream and special needs schools. At Kings’ Nad Al Sheba, Cara works with a team on developing the skills of learning assistants, promoting well being and providing the most suitable and positive provision for children with additional needs, English language learners and those who are more and exceptionally able. She continues to develop her knowledge and understanding of how to provide the best possible learning environment for all children.
