SCHOLARSHIPS

 

Secondary school scholarship applications for 2019-20 are now closed.

Kings’ Education is proud to offer a limited number of scholarships each year to secondary and sixth form students of exceptional merit and potential. These awards are means-tested and worth up to 25% of the annual school fees.

The coveted scholarships programme is open to both current Kings’ students and external candidates who can demonstrate excellence in academia, sport or the expressive arts. Those who are accepted on the programme, will benefit from exemplary support and guidance designed to nurture their talent and help them excel in their education.

To apply, please complete a Scholarship Application Form and submit it with the required supplementary documentation. You will also be required to complete the School Application Form and pay the registration fee. We cannot consider scholarship applications for any child for whom a school application form and registration fee has not been received.

Interviews and entrance assessments for short-listed applicants will take place week commencing Sunday 20th January and scholarships will be awarded week commencing Sunday 10th February.

Meet our scholars

 

Manvi Gupta, Academic Scholar

 

Manvi is an exceptional student who consistently demonstrates all of the positive attributes required to achieve excellence. Her diligence and determination to succeed have earned Manvi a truly outstanding and well-deserved set of GCSE results. She is meticulous in all she does and possesses excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as significant academic abilities.

In addition to Manvi's unfaltering commitment to her learning, she has made a significant contribution to the school community, representing the school in a number of activities including F1, Duke of Edinburgh Award and World Scholars; always showing herself to be an outstanding advocate of the school and a positive role model to others.

Aarian Lally, Sports Scholar

 

A national champion and potential Olympic Athlete, Aarian competes regularly in regional championships across the UK with the aim to qualify for Paris 2024.

Aarian has won 3 Golds, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze medals competing in the 200m, 200m relay, 400m and 1500M at the regional championships in London. His efforts, successes, and timings have all meant that he has successfully qualified for the British Nationals 2018.

Leyth Elmani, Arts Scholar

 

A prominent member of the Kings’ community, Leyth maintains a strong academic performance whilst representing Kings’ at the BSME Young Musician of the Gulf Award. He has also achieved a distinction in his grade 8 ABRSM exam on the violin.

Leyth has also been recognised for his performing talents by winning first prize at the GCC Virtuoso Music Competition 2017 and competing in Prague at the prestigious Josef Michka String Competition.
